Often on Sunday afternoons, CarolĀ“s extended family (of almost 60 people) invites us over to their country homestead for the weekly family asado, dip in the pool, and competitive volleyball game. The above picture is of the Quinto, which almost every Argentine house has in one form or another. It is an open-air room/porch/garage with a built in brick grill in the back and a table in the middle. Every week, Argentines gather the family together to dine and relax in these buildings. What a great culture!
